N.B.: I wrote this on Sunday, but I delayed posting it until now because I didn’t want anyone from the MacEwan crew to find this before they’d been told about its contents in person. I think the timing will be okay now, though; at least, I hope so. I apologise in advance if this entry feels like a nine-foot Steinway falling on your head. Call me ( Read more... )

I went to Old South the first couple weeks I was in Boston. Never dug it...probably because of the environment back home I was used to. Do you know they have a jazz worship service on Thursday nights? I'm not sure what that entails, but I know it exists.

I'm always up for a philosophical/religiosity-istic discussion. Let me know the time, place and beer on tap! :) Hope you enjoy your NYC weekend. See you next week!

It's raining today. As I'm typing this, the sun is coming out from behind a cloud, and I can see it through the window that is above my desk. Somewhere in Boston, somebody is looking at a rainbow. One of these days I'll understand all the signs that are throwing themselves at my feet.

I'm not going to be mad if you don't visit Boston. That would be ridiculous of me. Don't think for a second that you have to come because you said you would last time I saw you. That would be ridiculous of you.

Whenever it is that I end up seeing you next, I promise there will be many hugs.

I have classes/rehearsals from 11-1, 2-3 and 6-8 on Tuesdays... we'll figure it out.

I'm not concerned about being ridiculously dramatic. As long as we know it's too much for talking with anyone else, I'm sure we'll be fine :D
