Yes, the sixth and final concert of the Symphony Under the Sky festival happened this afternoon, complete with the cannons of the 20th Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery. Sweet! Who's the head of the Treble Department?
I learnt off a guy like that at high school. His first instrument was jazz electric guitar, and he got bored with that. So he learnt double bass, came over here, and got a job with the orchestra. He also plays wicked electric bass: now he plays pretty much jazz bass only. Don't think he teaches much at high schools as well...
