Frustrated

So, I can't get a Visa to stay in the USA past when my OPT expires in October.

STOP ACTING LIKE I HAVE TERMINAL CANCER OR SOMETHING.

AND STOP THINKING THAT YOU CAN FIND AWAY AROUND THE U.S. GOVERNMENT'S LAWS WHEN AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER CAN'T.

I'm moving away, not dying, guys. I'm really, really sad to have to leave Boston. Seriously, you have no idea. It's going to take a while for me to adjust to that - I don't think it's really quite sunk in yet. But I'm not going for another few months, and if I'm sad about it every freakin' day until I leave, I'm going to be too depressed to move.

I'm also amazed/annoyed by how many people seem to miss the fact that I say "an immigration lawyer told me I couldn't stay in the country". Not just some random schmo - a dude who knows the law. If that dude does not find a way for me to stay in the country, then you certainly won't. So please - take my word for it that I've done what I can do, and stop trying.

Jeez. I've only had this news for a day, and I'm already exhausted by people's displaced sympathy and armchair-law-interpreting.

How am I supposed to respond to that?
