yup, タチ and ねこ are used in the way given in definition two. うけ is sometimes used in place of ねこ

Excellent to have it confirmed by someone who has been living in Japan. It is even more awesome than some of the homonyms in the English language. Or is it the exact same sound? It could easily be like もも which I know has two completely different meanings and is distinguished by where the emphasis is placed. I found that one interesting too, in its relation to English, since peaches can be a euphemism for breasts...

The word makes a lot of sense of you think of how a cat raises his or her back-end as he or she stretches our his or her paws in front. I am not sure if the word ねこ is used in a relationship between two females... I have only heard this used between two males. Do you know?

Nope. I haven't got a clue. I came across that use of the word ねこ just yesterday. It wouldn't make sense in the same physical sense you suggest unless it was two women who were into toys though :P My Japanese isn't even functional yet. I'm about 1/3 of the way through a beginner's Japanese book and I'm taking lessons Saturday mornings that revolve around the same book. I doubt I know more than 100-200 words, possibly not even that when you discount compound words.

um. well, i knew cat. it was the other one i'd never heard of. and hey, i've been studying japanese for less than 6 months. jen has years on me and she didn't know. it's not exactly something you learn in class.

that's true, i guess actually the more suprising is that jen didn't know, even though she's a BL fan...

i will also point out that i'm not a fan girl or a language buff like you and jen respectively, so my learning pace is a bit slower.
