AHAHAHAHAH. I'm sorry because obviously that sucks for you wanting to watch your show, but WOOOO CUSTOMER SERVICE. (it's the biggest pet peeve that I have about my company and their customer service is that the reps are INCAPABLE OF INDEPENDENT THOUGHT for anything that falls outside of their scripts. apparently cox cable suffers from the same thing.)

Once in a while I meet excellent service staff, then fail!service like Kelly here, which crops up everywhere and everywhen, reminds me not to get too optimistic about it.

Sorry to hear about your show. 8(

Oh, Cox. The second I saw your subject line, I knew it had to be sarcastic - who would actually love Cox?!

What I love about this exchange is that you aren't complaining or trying to end your service - you're actually asking for more of their service! Such huge fail on their part!

As a DISH customer/employee I just can't see still being with a cable company. I made the switch about four years ago and have never been happier with my pay TV service. I have the most HD in the industry plus as a qualified customer I was able to get the HD Free For Life plan, which saves me even more money. Check it out here www.BestTVForMe

But I have a love/love relationship with my Tivo (basically my significant other at this sad, sad point in my life) and I can only use the Tivo with digital cable. Plus, if I switch now, they will probably ask me to pay for this phantom cable box that I've never owned, so I'm hoping to sort this all out before making any changes. I do think it sucks that my city only has one cable option. when they have a monopoly like that, they have no incentive to provide decent customer service. Every time I see the "your friend in the digital age" commercials, I want to smash a shoe through the television set (but I refrain, because the television is my second significant other at this sad, sad, etc.)
But I will keep Dish in mind - you diligent employee, you!!!
