• she wanted a series? You know what, I would read ALL the series about the characters from The Devil's Mixtape. Do I think the book suffered because it WASN'T some expansive Song of Ice and Fire periodical? Absolutely not. The Devil's Mixtape hit hard, hit fast, and was brilliantly succinct in how it did it. It was not forgiving. It didn't let you recover. To me, that made it amazing.
In conclusion, I'm sorry she hit you in all the wrong spots, and I wish there was a button I could push for you to make it easier to stop dwelling, but here are my thoughts and opinions instead. She's got her opinion, and here's mine: I will read whatever you choose to publish in the future, because I think you're brilliant.
