Around the halfway point

Greetings from Japan! I'm having a great time, and considering I'm about at the halfway point, I thought I'd update. The first significant chunk of time I spent in Kyoto, the ancient capital. Monkey Mountain sounds awesome. At least your day on the train in Japan can't be any worse than a night on a bus in the Sinai.

Will you get to celebrate a form a Christmas with your family when you get back? :)

Hopefully... if they haven't forgotten about me :) I'll have presents for them... Anyway, the train thing was actually fine -- it's very nice travel in Japan, certainly better than the travel in Egypt! Hey, do you want me to send you a postcard? Hope your break is going well!
