also, i am so impressed by your ability to do this kind of writing well, because it certainly is not easy. like, i have seen far too many tumblr and lj entries with people trying and coming up with the most cringeworthy sentences ever. but i love that you have a little twist in each of these sentences - that it's not just empty imagery.

Drunkenly, you nuzzle the black palm fire of my hair. Hear the thousand histories of tomorrowland suddenly washed in it. We're awful, unaccountable, drinking cans of Yanjing on the graves of all the immigrants who came before us.
