S&M reunion

So, I am debating the S&M reunion.  I want to go but . . .

• It costs a lot for almost nothing.  $275 for a couple to do everything, $115 to do almost everything.  Since everything is one slide show, one fancy party, one bar hang out, and one meet and greet with teachers, I am not impressed.  Unless they are planning to plate the teachers in gold,

I skipped the 5 year, but I was planning to go to this one. My plans kind of hinge on convincing far-flung types that it's worth their while to come in.

I'm pretty in favor, though, of totally bailing on the dinner. Eighty Dollars Per Person? Parisade's not that good. And I don't really want to get all dressed up...which would kind of be the point.

So, yeah. I don't know what I'll be doing instead...Cosmic, maybe? Followed by playing on the swings at Oval Park? Whatever it is will be a lot more value/dollar than the dinner.

hmm, i do want to get all dressed up, but am definitely pinching pennies so dinner seems steep. i also want to see all you guys, but am equally drawn to seeing again folks i only watched from afar at the time of my stay, so a certain amount of showing up and people watching (gawking) is on the cards for me if i do manage to come.
