inauguration

both my white culture and my soc of religion classes were diverted to the schools theater to watch the inauguration today. when i walked in, i'd missed the oath but came in on the very beginning of his speech. the theater was jam packed and of the people who were standing around the edges, we were like eight people deep all around

It was really something. I watched it at work and everyone in the store just like stopped when Obama started speaking. No one ordered anything and no one made any drinks. I loved watching the helicopter most though.

but I will watch a replay like... right now because I really wanted to see and for some reason thought it would happen in the evening instead of like noon (eastern time)
