Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra

Last Friday, we saw Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra play at the Forum.

This was her rescheduled tour: she was originally going to come out in February, but rescheduled those shows so she could stay and support a friend through chemo.

Yeah, I think you'd enjoy her concerts. They sound quite similar to the Voltaire shows, only bigger and less goth.

*nods*. They are good friends. I think V is greatly influenced by Amanda's public interaction. I keep meaning to listen to Dresden Dolls, even though Tony thinks I wouldn't enjoy it. I'm such a musical slack-arse.

I watched the Moma Violent Femmes thing or whatever it was on YouTube, and even I was impressed and I am Very Much Not A Fan and would probably never attend a concert.

But it does look like a fun night out.
