Moving to a blog- kinda?

I still have to figure blogspot out. and it seems to be pretty public. So I might end up there, or back here.

Speaking as one who has both blogspot and LJ accounts, there are things I like and dislike about both systems. I haven't seen any way to really hide posts/make them private on Blogspot, short of hiding the entire blog (to be fair, though, I haven't really done much looking about).

I want to do more with blogspot. I tend to like their layouts better in general, their UI is pretty darn sweet, and they allow for things like actual LibraryThing widgets (LJ does not).
