I agree with you. I have been stuck on this for a long time, but i think eventually people grow up. I know this past year i have tried looking past clothing, i cant even begin to tell you how much i have learned and what a better person i have become. I have found my true interests, found people who share those interests, and really made some great friends. We are so busy doing what we love to do and thinking about great things, i don think any of us would care where anyones shirt is from. But i think you are a leader, Alex. If you really feel this way, and dont like it, you have the power to get out of it. If you make it a point to wear what you like, people will eventually respect that. Even if people dont like it, if u stand up tall and like what u wear, you can get to the point where you dont care what they think. They will feel that, and then they will get passed it too, and hopefully become individuals as well.

You should join the Corps. Everyone has the same haircut. Everyone wears the same uniform, and the only way to stand out is to earn decorations like cords or medals that show exceptional leadership or academic abilites - things that people really respect - not some bullshit like what clothes you wear.

You know, it's all going to come back to them when they realize, at fifty, that they've spent their entire lives collectively looking for something that they'll never find in any earthly thing.
