placing this relationship into Gods hands
LDR's are really tough to handle. I could have a wide smile on my face knowing that i am blessed with someone who loves me unconditionally but some days all i want to do is cry just thinking about how unfortunate that we're not able to spend as much time together.

I don't know you... but I was just bored and going through posts made by friends of the community, "Asian Beauty" or whatever... and I noticed "LDR" in your post.
I am in a long distant relationship... and I must say... its freakin' tough! I'm sure you already know that though. So many people have doubts about LDR and some comments made are really discouraging. Well... just wanted to tell you to hang in there and if its meant to be, then its all worthwhile. I'm now engaged to my LDR boyfriend of two, almost three years and we'll be getting married in seven months. Often times, I just wanted to throw in the towel and call it quits. But what can I say? Its LOVE that made us stick together and continue to stick together and eventually be together physically.
Oy... and its expensive!!!!!!!!

aww.. thanks for the comment. Its encouraging to know that there are people who are going through the same situation and wanting to make the relationship work. A lot of people would just quit because there isnt enough trust and faith in the relationship. Some people don't really want to put the effort in LDR's aswell. (i agree with u saying that its expensive!)
But hey... its great to know that you are engaged and getting married!(how exciting!) and that is just an amazing story not only for yourself but its a testimony of LOVE to others! Thanks for sharing and all the best with your wedding preperations!

i got to admit, LDR sucks, alot. When Louis was away, it was awfully painful, not just for myself but him as well. But hey, look where we are now!
Faith, trust, love, commitment and the list goes on, helps alot in LDR. You need to believe this will work and hopefully the other party feels the same way tooo.
