haha, thank you, I made it today after reading a whole host of rants about new fans smooshing the pairing to "Spork" and "Kock." I felt compelled, because of course Kirk would go for Kock ;)

3. I don't know why we never thought of "spork". Silly, yes, but I've already seen comments like "Wouldn't you want to spoon with Spork?" and I have to admit, that's cute.

Ooo, glad to be of assistance. Check this out: http://www.asexuality.org/home/ and enter forums (you can read w/out a login). Lots of discussions of asexuals in relationships (sometimes sexual relationships) with people who aren't, which is more or less where I found my inspiration.

Love how Spock deals with being asexual in a relationship and his reaction when pon farr hits.

"Vulcan sexual maturity," Spock manages to say when he can stand without swaying. "I seem to have reached it."

This would make a kickass macro and is such a Spockian understatement or statement of the obvious (can't decide which) that I feel I should have it engraved somewhere. :P

I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT ON THAT!

It reminded me so much of that one like a year or two ago: "__________. Let me show you it."

I would've loled if he'd said it to me. But Kirk is impossibly more mature than me somehow.
