a new start

Welcome to my new journal (old and new friends). For the new ones I abandoned my old journal (mertvie_tsveti) for various reasons, the main being that too many people knew about it. So this is my new home and my fresh new start. I have also decided to make up a name for myself with this new journal because I still wish to remain anonymous: Araxie. It is a very ( Read more... )

It sucks when friendships drift apart...it can be quite painful. I think of all the people who have come and gone in my life and it makes me so sad. The one last good friend I had from high school has drifted apart from me...our lives are too different and neither of us made the effort. So I can relate to how you feel.

Welcome back, by the way! I missed your entries. I will be in PA in about a month, I'm so excited!

yeah, it does suck, and I did drift apart from a lot of my high school friends. But I thought me and her were different and we would continue our friendship through college and beyond...so completely wrong!

and thanks =) Where are you going to be in PA exactly?

I do always say "everything happens for a reason" I guess I still don't see why me and her had to end. It's weird not having her to talk to about everything, but I'm adjusting.

and thanks =) It's a shame we never got to meet when you were in Philly...maybe next time you come down here and it's the summer.

Followed you to this journal, hope that's okay.

And yes, friendships do drift apart, I've had my fair share of that. It's too bad that she didn't feel the need to tell you about these emerging reservations as they happened. Open communication is the sign of a secure, confident, and thriving relationship.

The problem was hers, not yours. Maybe one day she'll look back at it and regret it.

of course it's okay =)

I thought we always had a very open and trusting communication. I guess it all changed when she became all "european".
