Blissfull Memory
Willow came home after a day of shopping with Buffy. She’d asked Tara if she wanted to come with, but Tara politely declined. She was going to take some time to herself for a day.
Willow set down a small bag and looked around the house they shared. It contained the organized clutter that most houses have when full of happy memories.
“Tara?” she called, hoping to get some glimpses of the other Witch, also her girlfriend, who she’d missed all day. Willow pulled a small, white, box out of the only bag she brought home. She held it close when Tara appeared out of the bedroom.
Willow’s eyes brightened when she gazed upon Tara’s figure.
“I gotcha somethin’. I hope you don’t mind.”
She pulled the lid off the box. Inside was a crystalline figure, one Tara’d had her eyes on.
Tara’s eyes were wide when she saw it.
“Oh…wow..”
“You like? This is the one you wanted, right?”
Tara simply nodded. She was still in shock. They hugged, and Willow remembered what it was like to feel Tara’s skin…
…Willow stirred awake. Kennedy snuggled beside her.
Willow silently cried to herself. She rolled over on her side, and right before she went to sleep, she said, “I love you, Tara…”
