there's a rhetorical question that goes like this:

why put a new address on the same old loneliness?

despite the nature of the question, i would say that getting away will help to move past the loneliness.

everywhere i go, it's reminders of her. of us. and, i don't know if i can still live with that.

even so, i'm not safe in my own mind.

You should take a really extensive trip. Utilize the couchsurfing thing, go somewhere you've never been before. Go to Venezuela. Or Greece. Yeah, Greece, that sounds good. Do it!!!

You need to accept that she will always be there because she has a part of you and visa versa. Now its time to let that idea rest and pick up with things. When you find something greater and God given she will fade, the pain will go, but you will never fully forget. Its life, its a broken world and we are broken people.

Move on Ryan. its time to let go for your own sanity. The pain wont cease until you let it.
