To Shatter the Pieces More
By Shattered Tenshi
Invisible
Ryo didn't mean to walk in on them, really. It was their fault in the first place, to have that kind of conversation in the hallway where anyone could see and overhear them. He had stopped walking when he'd heard familiar voices, but didn't bother hiding himself. In fact, he was standing right in the middle of the hallway where the two could probably see him, but they were obviously not in the right mood to take a look around.
"Sorry."
Ryo watched as Yamapi apologized (for what?) and lowered his head guiltily. Ryo then realized he probably shouldn't be watching this - it was too private - but the next moment he found himself unable to move.
"You...you don't have to apologize." Despite what he'd said, a tear rolled down Koyama's cheek.
To be honest, from where Ryo stood, he only saw the profile of Koyama and he could barely see the tear, tears maybe, but the expression on the other's face was enough to shock him. It wasn't like he had never seen Koyama cry before because he has probably seen it way more than he'd ever wanted, but it was the first time he's seen the other look so broken. Ryo had the urge to reach out for Koyama and see if he'll break more with a small touch.
"But...!" Yamapi snapped his head back upwards, a pained expression on his face.
Koyama fell back a small step. "I-it's okay, really. I understand. I...I shouldn't have expected too much between us anyways." Ryo watched as Koyama tried to smile at Yamapi, but failed miserably. It was as if Koyama was trying to say something more, lips parting a few more times, but it became too hard. Biting down on his lip, he looked at Yamapi once more before walking away.
Luckily, it was the opposite direction from where he was standing. Koyama never noticed him.
Ryo considered what to do. There was no reason for him to be nosy, really. It was Yamapi's and Koyama's business, and as long as they don't make it awkward within the group as well, he should probably leave them alone.
That's what his mind decided, but his body started moving anyway, walking towards Yamapi. Eyebrow raised, arms crossed over his chest, Ryo said, "I never knew you guys were going out together."
Yamapi looked up, jumping slightly. His eyes showed shock, but that quickly disappeared after a few seconds and he slumped against the wall. "Nobody really knew."
"I thought getting a boyfriend was considered a good thing." Ryo considered joining Yamapi against the wall, before just deciding to lean his shoulder against the wall.
"It is," Yamapi replied. "Kei-chan...I love Kei-chan, but..." He shook his head. "I just kept on hurting him. Or, we just don't understand each other enough. I thought we did, but...it wasn't enough. Something was missing."
Ryo continued to raise an eyebrow. "He was the one to let go first though."
Yamapi nodded, agreeing with a sigh. "He was. I guess, it was just too much. I didn't want to let go, but after seeing Kei-chan like that..." He let out a dry chuckle. "I couldn't do anything but let go."
Without saying anything, Ryo nodded his head vaguely, not mentioning to his friend about his sudden spark of interest in Koyama.
Yamapi might not approve of it.
The 27th Crack
It was after that, that Ryo grew interested in Koyama. Perhaps, interested wasn't the right word to use. He was obsessive about Koyama. Obsessed about seeing all the different sides of Koyama. After all, before all this, he had almost thought of Koyama as someone with no hidden faces, but perhaps he was wrong. There was a lot more about Koyama that he didn't know about.
Most likely, there are other people who would know Koyama better than him like Katou or even Tegoshi, but he wouldn't be satisfied if he didn't see those hidden sides of Koyama with his own eyes.
Which was why he was watching Koyama right now.
With his busy schedule, Ryo already didn't see a lot of the other man; it just wasn't enough to please his obsessive needs. It was one of the reasons why he kept staring at Koyama when they were in the changing room together or kept glancing at the other through the corner of his eyes when they were working.
Ryo was sure he was being obvious, but that didn't matter to him. People can think whatever they want. He had never been one to really care about those things in the first place anyway.
Right now, Koyama was talking to Katou, which of course, was a usual occurrence in the changing room. Ryo had his earphones plugged into his ears, music player turned on so he couldn't hear the actual conversation, but that didn't stop him from staring at Koyama.
Koyama was laughing at something that Katou had said, but there was a strain in the other's smile that Ryo had never noticed before. He wondered how long had the strain been there. Since that incident with Yamapi, or even before that?
The strain wasn't the only thing. It might be just Ryo, but ever since he saw that weak, fragile side of Koyama, he had started seeing lines, more like cracks, on Koyama. The number of lines never decreased, and it took him a while to realize that they were actually either increasing or getting longer.
Ryo couldn't see them all the time though. Times like this, when Koyama were among people, the lines weren't as visible, barely noticeable almost. When Ryo catches sight of Koyama alone though, the lines were much more apparent, as if they've been engraved on to the male.
His attention went back to the two who were still talking in the changing room. Ryo frowned. There was something different about the atmosphere now. Koyama wasn't laughing, and Katou had a hand on Koyama's arm, looking worried.
When the smile appeared on the other's face again, Ryo watched yet another crack appear on Koyama.
The 39th Crack
Ryo saw the crack appearing before Koyama even stepped into the changing room. Or more like it was because Koyama wasn't in the changing room that he saw the crack appearing. It was the worried look that Nakamaru had when he walked into NewS' dressing room, asking for Koyama, and the paling of Yamapi's face immediately right after that.
"Are you sure you don't know where Koyama-kun is?" Nakamaru asked again.
"We don't know," Ryo repeated again. "Just go back to your whatever rehearsal. Koyama will show up soon enough."
In the end, Katou ended up leaving with Nakamaru to either look for Koyama, or comfort Nakamaru on the way to rehearsal, Ryo wasn't too sure.
When they were the only ones left - Tegoshi seemed to be pretty smart and dragged Masuda along with him - Ryo walked towards Yamapi. "Something happened."
Yamapi managed a bitter smile. "Am I that obvious?"
Ryo shrugged and waited for a proper answer from the other.
A small sigh was heard before Yamapi shook his head. "I was just being stupid. There was no reason for me to get jealous really. We're not even together anymore." He shook his head again, hugging his head to his knees. "I'm such an idiot. I made things even worse..."
Ryo didn't say anything yet again, his mind too busy wondering what kind of expression would be on Koyama's face right now.
He wanted to see.
A Longer 39th Crack
To be honest, even though he wanted to see Koyama's expression, Ryo didn't expect to actually find the other on top of the roof. He had only gone up hoping for a breath of fresh air and a moment of privacy. Instead, he found the other already there, leaning over the railings slightly with a cigarette in hand. Ryo paused, deciding if he was going to talk to Koyama.
He stood there silently for a few moments, watching Koyama place the cigarette between his lips, then letting out a swirl of smoke. Maybe it was because of Koyama's long fingers, or the way the smoke swirled in the air, but there was something mesmerizing about the scene, and Ryo thought maybe he had found another side of Koyama that not everyone saw.
Before he realized it, Ryo had stepped forward, heading towards Koyama. "I thought you quit or something."
Koyama looked up in surprise, but soon a small - maybe bitter - smile appeared on his face. "When did I ever say that?"
"Yamapi told me."
Ryo watched Koyama froze, and realized that the damage was done as he watched the crack grow longer.
Before the 41st Crack
Without any explanation, Ryo stuffed the bottle of super glue he bought into Koyama's hands and ignored the confused look the other gave him.
"Learn how to use this. Honestly."
The 45th Crack
They honestly need to learn how to hide properly. Wasn't there a closet right beside them? They just had to be beside it instead of inside it. Ryo scowled, trying to ignore that unknown, burning feeling in his heart. Heavy steps, Ryo reached out to pull Yamapi away from Koyama. "Oi, learn how to choose a proper place to do this."
Both of them flushed, but Koyama had a different expression on his face than Yamapi, and Ryo noticed another crack growing as Koyama ran off without saying anything.
Alone with Yamapi, Ryo raised an eyebrow. "So, are you going out with him, or no?"
Yamapi slouched against the wall, pushing his hands into his hair, perhaps in frustration. "I don't want to hurt Kei-chan anymore, but I...I can't resist him! The way he was looking at him..." he groaned.
"Maybe you were just imagining it," Ryo commented. Because certainly to him, it didn't seem like Koyama wanted that kiss from Yamapi.
After the 49th Crack
Ryo wondered if he should consider buying a second bottle of super glue for Koyama. Since obviously, the other didn't understand or know how to use it. Maybe he should have showed Koyama how to use it. Then again, if he bought another one, he'll be wasting money, and he wasn't going to waste money for Koyama.
Koyama can learn on his own.
The 51st Crack
When Jin bounced into the dressing room, it didn't take Ryo more than a second to decide he was going to ignore his friend for the day. The other was being too loud, and he wasn't in the mood to play along with Jin’s games.
"Ryo-chan, you're no fun today!"
That's when Koyama walked into the room, which allowed Jin to change his target. "Kei-chan, you want to go out for dinner with me tonight?"
Ryo twitched, not sure why, but probably because Jin was still being loud, and turned his chair around so he didn't have to face those two.
"Sure, Akanishi-k-"
"Jiiiin. Call me Jin."
"...Jin-kun. We can go out tonight."
It was only a few sentences of conversation, but already Ryo found himself spinning around and snapping, "Look, Jin, if you're going to pick up after Yamapi and flirt with Koyama, do it somewhere else."
Almost immediately, another crack appeared, and Ryo felt strangely proud to know he was the one who had caused that full crack on Koyama.
Grabbing Koyama's wrist - it was more of an instinct really, Ryo scowled. He was losing count. Maybe there were over a hundred already. He was tired of seeing the cracks. Koyama couldn't learn on his own after all. "God, would you just get over Yamapi and stop moping around? You're being more of an eyesore than usual."
Koyama mirrored Ryo's scowl - a rare scene - before flinging his hand away from the other. "Shut up. Just leave me alone."
Ryo raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
"You're the one who's always looking at me, watching at me!" Koyama rambled. "I feel your gaze on me all the time, and I don't know what you want! Stop looking at me and just leave me alone! I wasn't moping around anyways, so don't jump to your own conclusions!"
Once he had heard enough, Ryo narrowed his eyes and grabbed Koyama's wrist again. "If you want me to stop looking at you, then stop cracking all over," he hissed. "It's giving me a headache."
"What cr-" Koyama's words were cut off as Ryo pushed him against the mirror in the rehearsal room. "Ryo-chan? What are you doing? Let me go!"
"I figured there's only one way for you to stop moping about Yamapi..." Ryo said as his hand slid down Koyama's chest.
Koyama's eyes widen and immediately, he started to shake his head. "R-Ryo-chan? Stop this." Biting down on his lip to hold back a whimper, Koyama tried to push the other away, but Ryo only pressed himself closer to the older one, so he won't be able to escape.
Ryo smirked. "I've never seen this side of you before anyways. It'll be interesting..." Not to mention, he wanted to know if he could put another crack in Koyama, despite how much he was tired of seeing them. It wasn't something he was going to tell Koyama though.
"Nhh...!" Despite Koyama trying to push Ryo away, the other also pressed his head back against the mirror when Ryo rubbed his knee between Koyama's legs.
A low chuckle, Ryo said, "See? You'll enjoy this..." Rubbing for a few more seconds, Ryo decided that he didn't like their position. With one pull, he turned Koyama around so the other was facing the mirror, half-pressed up against the cool surface. "You'll be able to see yourself," Ryo murmured into Koyama's ear, tilting his head up to do so. "Did Yamapi do something like that with you? Or maybe Jin? You guys went out for dinner, right?"
Koyama let out a small sound that was similar to a whine. "W-we didn't...s-stop..."
Ryo just growled lowly and undid Koyama's jeans, slipping his hand in. "Maybe after you let go of some sexual frustration, you'll stop cracking."
"What are you tal-" Koyama couldn't finish his sentence though as Ryo squeezed his heated flesh.
Grinning to himself (a bit maniacal perhaps), Ryo started to move his hand slowly, then quicker before going back to the slow pace. "Don't you know? Sexual urges and frustration could affect a person quite a bit... I'm just helping you." He purred.
Trying to get away again, Koyama said, "I d-don't need your help!"
"Says you..." Ryo gripped Koyama's chin and made the other face his own reflection in the mirror. "Can't you see the want in your own face? You want this. You need this. Don't deny it..." He started quicken the pace of his stroking, feeling Koyama harden beneath his touch.
Finally unable to hold back, Koyama let out a low moan. Ryo was definitely pleased, so he continued what he was doing. He was getting hard as well, but he wasn't going to admit that he wanted to fuck Koyama, no way. He was just going to give Koyama a hand job, and see if a crack will grow as a result.
Feeling the body against him tense up, Ryo could guess what Koyama was feeling. He bit down on the joining area of Koyama's shoulder and neck, growling slightly. "Admit you need this, or I won't let you come." To emphasize his words, he covered the tip of Koyama's member.
"A-ahh...R-Ryo-chan..."
It almost sounded like Koyama was crying, and Ryo nearly snickered. "I'm waiting," he drawled.
Squeezing his eyes shut, cheeks flushed, Koyama said, "I...I need this! P-please let me come, Ryo-chan..."
"Good boy," Ryo purred and quickly let go as promised. The moment he did so, Koyama came all over the mirror and Ryo's hand. His knees buckled from his orgasm, and he had to support himself, pushing his hands against the mirror.
"Stop cracking now," Ryo murmured before stepping back, letting Koyama fall.
By the time Ryo found a tissue to wipe his hand clean and saw Koyama sitting on the floor, head down, his heart clenched suddenly. He realized he might have broken something that he had never meant to fully break in the first place.

Author's Notes: Eto, eto, I finally decided to stop being lazy and post this fic back on to my journal! X3; It's been a while since the challenge was over anyways... Don't really have much to say. I'm not totally satisfied with this piece, but I'm too lazy to edit and add more to it really. Especially since lately, I'm really focused on KissuMai fics (trying anyways, because I fail at writing in general lately), so I'm not that inspired. X3;
Anyways, as usual, comments are love and appreciated~
