Johnny's Juniors - Duet March 2007

Mar 25, 2011 23:33

One-on-one meeting with prof today which went pretty well. As marks are comparative and relative to other people in the class though, I don't think I'll be actually getting a high mark though since I know there are people better than me. It'll be an alright mark though.

Hoping to finish my last project for Explorations by Monday since I'm not printing the photos myself, but giving it to the technician as she's the only one who can print large format.

Then after that, just quizzes and exams. //nods//

Another request by kewly through help_japan.

Translation. Tap Kids and Kitty Jr - Yuuto, Yamada, Chinen, Ryutarou, Taiga, Itou, Kanda, Shintarou. The boys discuss about what they think about Valentine's Day and their experiences with receiving chocolates and such.

Tap Kids & Kitty Jr.
The Ideal and Reality of the Chocolate-Loving Panel
The exciting Valentine's. Not only girls want their hearts to throb! This is why, Tap Kids and Kitty Jr carries out an urgent panel discussion. Of course, the theme is "the surefire way to get chocolates"!?

We found the rule to Kira Kira & Pika Pika!!
[Note: Both kira kira and pika pika can mean sparkle or glitter]

Nakajima: It might be sudden, but a question. People who like Valentine's Day among our group here!

Yamada, Kyoumoto, Shintarou: Ha~i!

Nakajima: I'm on the side of liking it too. That's because I get excited starting the day before.

Yamada: Me too. Even though I don't talk to girls a lot normally, just this day I feel like I'll be forgiven (laughs).

Kyoumoto: I look forward to it from the morning as well ♥

Shintarou: I lo~ve chocolates!

Nakajima: Who hates it then?

Ryutarou: Haai.

Shintarou: Wah, it's just oniichan only~

Ryutarou: You got a problem with that? Do you understand the meaning of Valentine's Day in the first place, Shin?

Shintarou: I understand. It's a day where girls give chocolates to the person they like, right?

Yamada: Correct! As expected of you~

Ryutarou: (frown) Which side are the people who didn't raise their hands on?

Chinen: I guess neither like or hate.

Itou: The normal side!

Yamada: Kanda too?

Kanda: U~n. I don't look forward to it especially, but with that said, I don't dislike getting chocolate either...(smiles).

Nakajima: A composed statement.

Yamada: Among these members, perhaps Kanda is the most mature (laughs).

Ryutarou: That's because, if you get chocolate from a girl you don't like, what do you do?

Yamada: Of course I'd say "Thank you" and accept it.

Ryutarou: Even if it's a girl you've never spoken to?

Nakajima: That's what's known as a male's manners. Even a Mexican like me understands that much! [Note: Yuuto's statement about being a Mexican was all in katakana, so he was likely speaking in a fake foreign accent.]

Chinen: A mysterious Mexican (laughs).

Yamada: There are girls too that it's because it's the boy they like that they can't talk to them lightheartedly. I'm that type as well.

Ryutarou: If they like someone, then they should just play together a lot regularly!

Itou: I would talk too and play with the girl I like!

Yamada: I'm envious (laughs).

Nakajima: Ryutarou, you still don't know that kind of naive feelings of love.

Ryutarou: That's because~ (frowns again)

Nakajima: "That's because" is prohibited! It's the enemy of progress. Well, it's certainly decided that this year too, I'll be receiving (chocolates)~ ♪

Shintarou: From who? Who?

Nakajima: My mo-ther (laughs).

Yamada: Is it alright to count that...

Ryutarou: This year, I will definitely receive from someone other than my mother!

Yamada: Hahan. Well then, there's someone who wants to get chocolates!

Ryutarou: ... (sudden silence)

Nakajima: It seems like you guessed correctly (laughs).

Shintarou: I didn't hear anything like th~at.

Kyoumoto: Me, I got chocolate from a foreign girl who lived in my neighbourhood last year.

Chinen: Eh!?

Itou: Amazing!

Ryutarou: Was "I love you" written on it!? [Note: Ryutarou said I love you in English, not Japanese]

Yamada: Taiga who has sauce from the pizza he ate earlier on his chin got international chocolate...

Kyoumoto: Ah (rubs quickly)

Kanda: You didn't get it off (laughs).

Nakajima: I'd want to give him chocolate ♥

Yamada: Hey, I want to ask, but did everyone receive chocolate last year?

Itou: I did~

Chinen: In a way. It was obligartory one though.

Yamada: ...I didn't get any.

Itou: Eh!? There's no way Yamada-kun wouldn't get any! It's a joke, right?

Yamada: I wouldn't be able to say a joke for this (tears). Somehow, I suddenly feel lonely.

Nakajima: Do your best this year (pats shoulder).

Ryutarou: It wasn't last year, but I got chocolates with a letter that said "I kind of like you".

Kyoumoto: What did you reply with?

Ryutarou: "I kind of like you too."

Kanda: Kind of mutual love (laughs).

Chinen: Right now, we're studying hyakunin isshu at school, and they say that among them, there are poems that have meanings of like a love letter. [Note: Hyakunin isshu means 100 poems by 100 famous poets. Kept it in Japanese like that because it's not just any random 100 poems, but a specific set.]

Nakajima: If chocolates came with a love letter, I'd be happy. I think my heart would beat really quickly. My ideal Valentine's Day though is to get called out by the girl secretly and go somewhere like the back of the school building. Unable to exactly get words out, she's fidgeting and then suddenly, she goes "Hai!" and give me chocolates and while I watch the figure of her back as she goes away hurriedly, I would realize for the first time, "That girl, she likes me..." What do you think?

Itou: It's like a drama!

Nakajima: It's not possible in reality.

Yamada: No, if it's Yuuto-kun, then it seems possible.

Ryutarou: Valentine is one chocolates, two heart and three love after all!

Chinen: That's not it! One has to be love. Plus, there's already "heart" in the middle of love. Try recalling the kanji.

Nakajima: It was wrapped up beautifully~ This year for sure, let's make it a splendid Valentine's ♥

Oh, Ryutarou, lol. Also, like Taiga with pizza sauce on his chin. Trust the boys to not tell him until halfway through the talk.

Comments are love and appreciated~
