I wished I had something better and more epic, but...oh well. I only had so much time.
17:00!
Last day of Tokyo Dome shows and the final show of the tour!
Translation. Members talk about the tour and what they have planned as well as recent private news. They also answer the question of what they usually do before concerts.
Kis-My-Ft2
VOL.014
Fujigaya Taisuke
For the concert, I have a unit song with Kitayama and Wataru respectively. The plan is to play the guitar for the song with Kitayama, so I’m currently practising desperately. I think people who have played the guitar before would understand, but I almost gave up when I got to the F chord (laughs). Until the concerts, I will have it down perfectly, so look forward to it. With KisuMai’s concerts, there’s cuteness, a bit of uncoolness, coolness, funny part...I think there are various aspects to them. I want to make it into a show where people would think, “There’s something nice about KisuMai,” after the concert.
As for private news, the other day, we had a celebration for my dad’s birthday, so our whole family went out for food. My dad was very embarrassed and purposely responded in brusque ways. I thought he was cute (laughs). My two brothers and I chose a watch and gave it to him as a present. When I thought he suddenly fell silent, I saw his eyes were starting to get teary. Ah, it was bad for me too! After not having done so in a while, I was able to spend some quality time with my family.
Miyata Toshiya
Right now, we’re in the middle of preparing for our concerts, but I’m not really worried about my stamina. When we were Juniors, we often had to do 2 to 3 shows in a day, but I’m the type of person who can’t pace myself (laughs). Back then, I’d get really tired during the last show...things like that happened, but for Dome concerts, it’s just one show, so I can go all out however I want. I feel like there are many well-mannered people among my fans. It’s like...when I wave my hand at them because they’re holding my uchiwa, they’d bow their heads back in response (laughs). I want them to be more and more aggressive, to the point I’d think, “Oh~ they’re more energetic than I am.”
As for private news, Snow Man’s Sakuma and Abe-chan and me, the three of us went out for food together. Since it was Sakuma’s birthday, when I asked him, “What do you want to eat?” he replied immediately with, “I want to eat extreme delicacies!” (laughs). We went and ate things like scorpions and salamanders. It’s not just Sakuma, but I took a step further into adulthood too (laughs).
Yokoo Wataru
Since we had events during New Year and for our album release, I’m looking forward to be able to see everyone at concerts again. I went to watch A.B.C-Z’s concert that was held in early summer. When I see something like that, my feelings of “I want us to do that soon too!” grow stronger. That’s why I’m all pumped up for it! While listening to the album “Kis-My-World”, I’d think about things like, “Will things go this way here? Will people get excited if we do this?” I don’t know how far my ideas will go, but I want to give out as many ideas as possible.
The other day, it’s a bit rare, but I went out for food with Kitayama, and there, we got excited talking about, “It’d be nice if we can do something like this.” This time, there are quite a few pair unit songs too, so you should be able to enjoy a different side of KisuMai you’ve never seen before! Since it’s a DOme tour, I think you’d need quite a bit of stamina, but I think I have the most stamina in KisuMai. I’ll get everyone pumped up without getting tired even until the very end.
Tamamori Yuuta
Since we can meet everyone again after one year, of course I am as well, but I can feel all the members’ excitement. In the concert this time, I’m thinking about being a bit particular about the MiyaTama corner. I guess the keywords are, “While being cool, also funny.” It seems like people have images of us being “soft and gentle,” but it’ll be a bit different from that. The other pairs will probably do things that way...while predicting what they could do, I want to create a different atmosphere from there. While I say, “while being cool” though, I’m sure Miyata won’t be cool...that I have predicted (laughs).
Personally, I’m training my body. For me, when it’s time for concerts, I have a habit of waiting to take off my shirt no matter what, therefore (I’m training) so that I can take off my shirt whenever. Not to mention, I have the stage show “DREAM BOYS” starting in September. Concerts and stage shows...it seems like I’ll have many days where I won’t see the summer sun. Okay, let’s make it so that summer is until October on my calendar (laughs).
Nikaido Takashi
When so many days where I haven’t been on stage pass by...to be honest, I gained 3kg (laughs). That’s why lately, I’ve been training my body with Mitsu. I’m doing muscle training for my upper body and doing things like squats so I won’t get super tired during the second half (of concerts). Until I meet everyone again, I’ll go back to how I was before so don’t worry! I want people to just relax, like how it feels to go to an amusement park when they come to our concerts. If you have firends who aren’t interested in KisuMai, try invite them saying, “They’re cool, interesting, and you get to see their true selves too!” ...ah, but if you say so much, I guess the hurdle (of expectations) gets higher for us (laughs).
As for private news, I went out for food with Mitsu, Miyata, A.B.C-Z’s Goseki-kun and Tsuka-chan, and WEST’s Kiriyama. “Tsukada-kai” gathers every now and then as usual, but it’s been a while since I ate with Kiriyama. We used rock-paper-scissors to decide who pays in the end, but Mitsu, Miyata, and me...the three from KisuMai ended up paying. In a way, we were “lucky” (laughs).
Senga Kento
What kind of concert it will be - at this point not everything has been decided, but like last year, I want to get involved with the dances. Last year, I did the choreography for “Striker” and such, and I just wanted to show the dance itself, so the structure...like changing the positions partway or showing the formation, I didn’t really think about those things. After listening to the album “Kis-My-World” though, a few ideas as to how to make the structure look interesting came to mind. I think it’d be nice if I can actually give shape to those ideas. Also, there are various songs we perform as pairs as well, so I want to convey the good points about each pair and have people feel the range KisuMai has.
In private, lately, I’ve been going to the chiropractor. I slouch quite a bit, so since a while ago, I’ve been wanting to fix my posture. I’m doing the training exercises I’ve been taught at home, so it’d be nice if I can become someone with good posture.
Kitayama Hiromitsu
Lately in preparation for the upcoming concerts, I often have meetings with staff members, but once again, I really feel, “I like this (preparation) time.” I don’t really think about how I’m seen. As expected, “how the seven of us are seen,” that’s the most important. Seven is quite a number of people and because of this, there are various ways to present ourselves. There are many kinds of possibilities. Especially this time, we have corners where we perform in pairs too, so I think people can experience fresh feelings with those parts. With Fujigaya’s and my corner, I’m thinking of showing, “We can do something like this too.”
In private news, the other day, I went jogging with Tackey and Yabu. I have concerts and there are Takizawa Kabuki’s Singapore shows starting mid-August, so I wanted to gain stamina. We ran about 15km. I thought it would be a piece of cake, but it was quite tough (laughs).
A question to members from fanclub members!
“What’s something you’d definitely do before concerts?”
Kitayama: Meeting with staff members. Things like, “The timing at that point, it’d be better if it was a little earlier,” I often tell the staff things as a representative of members. That and stretching. Rollerskating is hard on the legs, so I’m especially careful about stretching my legs.
Fujigaya: After I’m finished with make-up, I’d stretch while listening to music. At that point, I’d spray on some cologne I like...that’s my standard routine. Wataru gets ready early, so while everyone is getting ready, he’d sit on the couch with a composed atmosphere with ease (laughs).
Tamamori: I’d pester Miyata one-sidedly. That’s because when the starting date gets closer, I get adrenaline and the blood of the boxer, Yuuta, from “DREAM BOYS” start to get worked up (laughs). Also, I’m the type of person who can’t get energy without eating, so I eat lots before the show!
Yokoo: Right, it’s as Taisuke said. It’s true that I’d be “sitting” (laughs). I’d finished getting ready 20 minutes before the show, and from that point onward, I’d sit and watch everyone bustle about getting ready from the couch (laughs).
Miyata: I’d take my time blowing my hair and making it all smooth. This is a fixation I have related to concerts. As expected, a prince’s hair should flutter nicely when turning! The quality of my hair is pretty good, so I have confidence about how smooth it is.
Senga: I’d splash cold water onto my face. Apparently your pores would close up and make your face smaller, so I want to make an impromptu small face before going out on stage to see everyone. Well, I sweat right from the opening though, so I’d go back to normal in a flash (laughs).
Nikaido: Right after arriving at the venue, I’d have a light meal. After rehearsal, about an hour before the show, I’d take a shower, stretch, go to the toilet, and finish everything 5 minutes before we’re supposed to gather...I guess that’s my routine.
Hope people enjoyed this~
