I'm very happy for you and the son. I've seen Elvis 3 times, once with the Attractions (way back, I think it was in support of "Armed Forces"). Always an incredible experience. His approach to concerts is sometimes very original. Any details you can share?

First and foremost, Elvis had on a black suit and shirt, green tie, and friggin' silver sequined cowboy boots! The angels wanna wear his silver boots.

The set started out a bit sluggish, but once EC warmed up it was tremendous. A nice set list running through the catalog, some good banter. Highlights: "Here Comes the Bride," "Oliver's Army," "High Fidelity," and that thing he wrote for Cold Mountain, a verse of which he did away from the mike so the entire house had to shut up and listen.
