Today is April Fools' Day, and soon the kids will be up and figuring out ways to get us. They're funny kids, but they haven't quite figured out the subtle gradations between good-natured pranksterism and arbitrary cruelty, so I'll need to watch them ( Read more... )

We're going to see Sin City this afternoon. I'm very excited! It looks awesome. I'll give you a report so you can know if it's worth it.

It was AWESOME! But only if you like graphic novels and comics. It was too cool for words. The shots were just fabulous and the gratuitous violence was extremely amusing. And the boobs were cool.

I'd like to see Sin City too. But I agree, going to the movies is just too damned expensive.

I remember when I was in high school and college, I'd go to the movies all the time. Now the only time we go is if it's something the kids really want to see. The last flick I saw in the theatre was The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. Before that, it was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. So that's how often we go anymore.

i also want to see sin city it looks really good.. plus the asian girl in the movie is really hot and i like hot asian girls.. there arent really that many hot asian guys out there in movies.. whats up with that??

i want to see the incredibles also.. i love animated movies.. finding nemo is one of my favorites!!

I really loved Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe in "L.A. Confidential"...couldn't believe it when I learned they were both Aussies. Excellent film.
