My Mom hasn't talked to me since last night.
All because I said I wanted to get my dad a present, but I didn't really want to get Donald one.
and she called me selfish because he has already bought me things.

Adrian might just not know how to go about doing things; tell him something like, "You know what? You should call me more," or, "Can we hang out this weekend? I would really like to." The physical affection should happen on its own if you are with eachother outside school more.
Make your mom listen to you.
If she doesn't, it might take something dramatic.
Trying to make up for the past is not usually all that effective with parents, and if she can understand that it didn't matter to you, it might make her back down.
It sounds like Donald is compromising his beliefs because the idea is that it will make you and Kayla happy.
