I am today ashamed to be British.

I am ashamed my fellow citizens have seen fit to send two facists to the European parliament. This from a nation that managed to resist the temptations of Oswald Moseley in the early part of the 20th century and spilt the blood of its children to turn back the tide of facism that engulfed Europe in the 1940's.

I voted Green this time, as I felt they had a more coherent set of policies with respect to Europe amongst the left leaning candidates I had available to me.

hearing you loud and clear - it is such a dim moment.

I voted Lib Dem in both the local and EU - in Oxfordshire conservatives won - not really a surprise though.

But was glad to see that the Green Party had such a a good turn out.
