Gumby, Ahh Real Monsters and Alex Mack were definitely the best shows ever. Whenever I watch the ABC on weekday afternoons, I end up feeling really sad because the stuff they show now isn't even remotely entertaining. Though it might just be because I'm older now?
I knoooow. We had it so good when we were kids. Do you remember that stop animation show, made out of leaves and flowers and things? Or ahaha, that weird French (?) show that made animals and pictures out of fruit and veg?
Man, I miss a lot of old shows like that as well, although I must say, I absolutely loathed Captain Planet and the Power Rangers. But hey, to each his own. =P Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters was where it was at!
I never see you on Yahoo, we obviously have completely different schedules or something. Or perhaps it's a conspiracy...
I was a bit disappointed with Hostel as well. The whole first hour of it was all about sex and was really quite unnecessary. It wasn't a "scary" movie, it was just very bloody. Although, I did like the ending since the guy got back at the evil killer dude. But you're right, it was lacking something it should have had, what with being a Quentin Tarantino film.
Ghostbusters definitely rocked my socks. But I couldn't help but love Captain Planet, even though it was a pathetic excuse for subliminally making kids clean up their garbage.
I think it is a conspiracy plot..Perhaps the evil girl scouts are plotting something. You never know. But I shall keep trying!
Perhaps I had high expectations or something? When they got the killer dude in the toilet that was quite good. 'Payback' in his movies is always a good thing. Like in Kill Bill Volume 2 where Uma Thurman gets back at the evil girl with the patch. lol.

Consider yourself added. =)
I feel sad, too, because the shows on nowdays were NOTHING like the ones that were on when we were young. *Sigh.

Hmm, I think if you want to see them, see Volume 2.
And also, expect about three emails with songs attached to them, in my absence I've come across so many that I wanted to share with you =)
