No need to be jealous. I sucked last time I painted I don't know what I did differently this time to actually make something that turned out not ugly??
And anyone can follow a recipe.
The linguine is so easy, you don't even need a recipe after making it once.
Boil your linguine while you are making the shrimp.
In a large skillet heat 3 Tbsp. butter and about 3 Tbsp Olive oil. Once it's all melted together (medium heat), add 5 minced garlic cloves. Cook it for a few minutes then add 1 lb. frozen, peeled, deveined (tails off, too) shrimp. Cook till the shrimp is pink and cooked through (about 6 or 7 minutes), then add salt and pepper to taste, the juice of two lemons, and the zest of one lemon. Toss with the cooked (and drained) linguine. Add red pepper flakes, too, if you like a little heat. It really adds something.
