I have too much stuff. Like, I've become sort of disgusted with the /amount/ of things that I own, especially those things that serve no purpose whatsoever. Things that I hang onto "just in case." I think I'm going to go through and anything I haven't touched since I moved to North Carolina, I'm going to rehome

did you try using Cheese? I have a built in webcam with Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex and it works fine...

I've got Cheese, because someone told me to try it, but... it doesn't work. Actually, I think it does the antithesis of work. It opens, and the light comes on the cam, and then there's no preview, and it prompts me to take a picture, which I do, and that picture doesn't show up, and then the entire thing freezes and I have to force-quit.

*sigh* I assume someone is working on it, and it'll work some time in the future.

Actually, I just fucked with it, and now it's working. But only on like the lowest possible resolution. *shrug* Odd.

I've got me one of those too. $3 at Goodwill, works like a charm.

I got my toaster from Gail, who got it from storage-- they have a lot of stuff too. But I loves it, and its silveriness.

lol I feel your pain. Since moving in with Danielle, the amount of stuff we have is just unbearable. ARGH!
