I love these. The choice of colors on the first piece gives this odd dream-like or film-negative kind of feeling that I really like. I'd love to explore it's surface in person. The second piece is beautiful as well. It's terribly sad, the damage that has been forced on that area.
By the way, "I Could Have Danced All Night" is still bringing joy to our eyes and brains every day. Thank you for creating something so moving and beautiful.
The dreaminess in A Feast in the Field came from the realization that "less is more". I have a tendency to overwork stuff. This time I didn't.
The CutBlock theme is an on going compulsion for me. I have to get my sadness and frustration out somehow or I'll end up doing more than just scowling and muttering at every fully loaded logging truck that passes my door. If you see someone on CNN who has chained herself to a Douglas Fir, it might be me :0
So glad that you're both still Dancing every day ;)
