This union is giving other unions a bad name.

I believe in unions.  I believe they are necessary and do a tremendous amount to preserve the lives and well being of those who companies could use and abuse... and thsoe who WERE used and abused before unions.  The problem is the sense of

I was talking to Steph, and she said it was nuts. I mean there was no warning that there'd be a strike. Imagine taking the GO Train into Tornoto to find that all the busses were on strike - in 30*C plus temperatures. I mean if you know in advance you can make other plans, but to suddenly be sideswiped with it - bah!

I admit unions are a nessessary part of the business world - but i'm really glad my company doesn't have one!
