NOTE: My e-mail list is severely and shockingly lacking, so if you know anyone who would want to read this please don't hesitate to e-mail it to them.

Greetings!  I have had almost no internet access in my time here, but I have a brief moment here at Amy's friend's Hannah's house.

I've had a wonderful time.  Outside of my foot.  Somehow (perhaps ( Read more... )

Wonderful post! I'm excited that you're having a good time. Enjoy it!

Speaking of Budweiser, yup it is originally from a town called Ceske Budejovice in the southern Czech Republic. Wierd stuff! (I only know because I was caught in a flood in that town. But I digress)

NO RAIN! YOU BASTARD! You must have had more sunny days than the country normally gets in a year! I think I had TWO days were it only rained a little. It does, as you say, make everything looks so gorgeous though.

It is really cool that you got to stay and tour with someone who knew the area. That makes such a difference. Everything's coming up Mullin. Except for the Oilers. It was heartbreakingly Senators like to watch. The kind where even when we have the powerplay some part of my brain is scared of a fluke breakaway goal.

I'm so happy you're there. :)

I saw Game 2, they are very Senators right now unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply, it has been great.

Keep up the good posts. Glad you're having a good time. Dan and I will make San Francisco (aka Europe) soon enough and we're interested in your thoughts as an unbiased traveller - unlike that travel junkie Maddock :)

Yah, really you are gettings spoiled with all this sun!! Trust me. On the flip side, Rob really got screwed with complete crap weather. :)

If you walked around the University of Glasgow and noticed a really ugly building right beside the REALLY nice gothic Parliament-looking main building, that was mine. At least -we- get a nice view..

hahaha, you do, the University is quite nice.

And I was very lucky. Still you are lucky to be living there, great place to be .

I can't believe you haven't hit rain yet. I would like to wish some on you, but that's plain old mean.

Your description of Scotland has convinced me that this will be on the agenda next time I head overseas! - Palmer

So about that backup goaltending ice_patrol June 7 2006, 14:01:00 UTC
Well you might as well hand the cup to Carolina right now. Conklin sucks as we all know, he totally blew it the other night and apparently in practice yesterday he "gave up" its looking like Markennen will be starting. Its a shame because I think offensivly Edmontnon is better, but I can't see how either of these two chumps (Conklin/Markennen) will help guide Edmonton a cup. Sucks cause Rolly was on a roll (no pun intended)

anyways have fun !

It is very dissapointing. It's a huge mountain to climb and from their play last night I think the team themselves is too shaken and they don't have the same confidence without Roloson.

I still think Carolina can be had, but it'll be very tough.
