I saw this trade and my question is How the hell does this trade work ? How can the Ducks keep both Nidermeyer and Pronger ? I'm guessing JS Gigerre is gone, like do they have that much cap room. Also what the hell is Lowe thinking trading Pronger to a team in his own conference ? Anyways the Ducks are going to be a rough team to play against now....damn ! We get Luongo and now this ! bah !

BTW I want to bid farewell to SteveY, amazing player, who most of you Ottawa folk will say is an Ottawa boy, but actaully he was born in Cranbrook B.C !

I imagine the reason for the deal within conference is that the rest of the deals wern't good enough and he wanted the best return possible.

Unfortunately this trade essentially is a "for the future" move and I'm concerned about the immediate future of this team.

It's Pronger's fault though, fuck that fucker :)

Yzerman was born in BC, some people were born in Taxi Cabs but they aren't taxi drivers :) He was raised in Ottawa, played his minor hockey in Nepean. He's ours!

Well its Pronger being whipped by his wife more than anything. Your probably right about the conference deal, it was probably the best one

BTW if Mr and Mrs Yzerman never hooked up in Cranbrook there would be no Steve Y so there

But it doesn't matter the pride of BC is as follows
Joe Sakic
Paul Karyia
Scott Niedermeyer
Andrew Ladd
Brent Seabrook
Barret Jackman
Brenden Morrison

lets not forget either Cam NEELY and Cliff Ronning !
