I listen to stuff as full albums. :) I'm actually thinking about getting a record player so I can pick up some of my favorite stuff on vinyl-my dad has one (it's how I got into music, Once Upon A Time), and I've missed it.

Seriously, though-I listen to full albums to see how they hang together as a whole, and I generally tell people to start with albums when trying to get them to listen to my favorites.

I grew up in a house with one of those wooden furniture looking stereos with am/fm and turntable. My dad forced us to listen to Glenn Miller, Henry Mancini, Elvis, ect. (he didn't really force us, but my love of all music comes from him) Now, when I'm trying someone new, I listen to the whole album.
