Oh honey. The introspective resolution in the last paragraph makes me hope this is fiction, not because of the obsession, which is harmless enough, but because of the damage it seeks to escape. If not, then hugs to you, my dear. It's better to be alone than to wish you were.

It is true. I was abused, in what feels like a different lifetime. It has been almost thirty years ago, but some things never heal. It is safer to love from a distance perhaps.

I found this fascinating, especially the realization of Lee Hong Gi as a safety blanket and what he means to you in that capacity. There's nothing wrong with adult celebrity crushes.
