But yeah, agreed...unrequited!HunHan is not what anyone wants, myself included. I'll make up for all the HunHan sadness in fluff someday, I swear!

A happy ending wouldn't have suited this. I considered it, because I really wanted them to just be in love, but...yeah. It wasn't meant to be, in this fic's universe.
Thank you so much for reading and for liking this so much!! You're really too kind.
On an unrelated note, I LOVE YOUR USERPIC. Eunhyuk is my ultimate bias. <3

But he hated the sympathy, the knowing looks and sad smiles he'd catch sometimes, the awkward hugs from the ever empathetic Tao. He didn't want to be treated like this, it made him feel like he was going crazy, and he asked Suho to make everyone stop.
"No." He made himself say it, even though his voice broke partway through. "Hyung... You don't have to do this. Don't..." His throat was constricting, chest collapsing all over again as the full weight of it washed over him. "Don't pity me."
I thought these two parts really captured the essence of the scenario..And I can totally relate ;~; Actually, the entire story and how the whole unrequited love worked out just seemed so real a (kudos!). Brokenhearted!Sehun is so sad, but I'm glad you shared this story with us :]
