I had this teacher that when talking about the Milgrim shock experiment made sure to emphasize that not all participants were blind obedients to authority -- that some of them refused to go through everything the professor told them. His point was that you have to look at percentages, you can't just look at the results of an experiment (that the majority obeyed) and conclude that all humans are sheep, you have to look at individual differences ( ... )
