See this is why I like to do things either by myself or just stay at home and have me time. I'm always the one out of all my friends to get hmmmm what's the word...oh well, don't feel like thinking right now. Anyways, so I've been trying to see Lion King 3D with some friends of mine, originally I was supposed to go with one of my friends, but her ( Read more... )

If she really was implying that you should pay for her ticket, that's kind of low. I thought the unspoken rule of high school/college was that everyone is broke, that all hobbies needed to be self-funded.

I am dragging my mom to TLK 3D tomorrow. Or, if she refuses to go, I'll go by myself. Seeing movies with other people is fun, but I am determined to see this movie no matter what. Seeing it in theaters the first time is one of my favorite memories. I AM GOING TO GO ON A MAGICAL NOSTALGIA TRIP!

Come to think of it, I can't remember if I've seen Rainbow Dash either. I know I saw one at the Times Square TRU, but they had all the ponies. (And at that point I only bought Twilight. I had too much to carry as it was.)

Exactly! Besides, I paid for her last time we went to the movies. >.> And agreed, to be honest I am going to see it this week no matter what, so no one can get mad at me. I just want to see it. xD

Atleast you get a Nostalgia trip, just seeing it in theaters would be a dream for me. x_x I spazzed out when I saw that Scar plush at the Disney store, now he gracefully sits in a pile of pokemon plushies.

Seeing it in theaters was an amazing experience! The home video version was good too, but there's just something about Mufasa in surround sound... During the original theater run, my theater even sold Lion King figures at the door. (It was a combo Mufasa/Simba figure iirc. I wish I had convinced my parents to buy one for me. It was so cool!)

I saw that Scar plush at the Disney Store. It looked awesome! I was tempted to buy one, except I have no idea where I'd put it. I barely have room for my current plush.

Aahh, you were so lucky to be able to see it then. Those were the golden days. I wish I was an 80s baby lol.

I had that same problem, but it didn't occur to me until I actually got home with the plush. (Pretty sure it was an impulse buy. Darn you Scar and your awesomeness)

That's a pretty low-down thing of her to do, because it isn't as if you're obliged to pay for her ticket or anything. It sounds pretty rude from my perspective :/
Anyways, I hope the movie was awesome! I'd love to go see it, but they aren't even showing it here in Hk at the moment as far as I know ;_; It would be amazing to go see, and so nostalgic <3
