You know, I was tempted to say Black Dog (and Sirius almost compelled me to do it) but the writer within told me that a supernatural story based on a Black Dog would be a little harder to write than a supernatural ghost story one. Or she could combine two of the ideas - supernatural and black dog.

i said ghost story or haunted house, but i think there should be something a little more than just that. maybe something with one of the other things you suggested.

I should add that Shell likes complex plots, so chances are she'd throw in about 638 twists that would separate it from your typical ghost story. :)
