The Smith Legacy: 2.3

How stupid of him. Of course this was the way it had to be. What other way was there? Why hadn't he thought of this? Why hadn't he considered this before he got so involved? If he had just been smarter about things...

Michael Carver sighed. If he'd just been smarter about things, then he never would've started this experiment in the first place.

A lot had changed in that little lab since the two scientists sent Jane Smith on her merry way. Yes, quite a lot indeed.

It started a week and a half after the legacy had. Michael and Sylvia soon realized that monitoring the Smith family would take up more time than they'd estimated. They ended up selling their apartments in Eden and built some extensions on the lab so that they could live there together instead. Living together with Sylvia was different, but not unpleasant, Michael thought. To economize, Sylvia insisted they share not only a bedroom, but a double bed. Michael had never shared a bed with a woman before (in any circumstance) and so it was kind of nerve-wracking at first, but he got used to it. Living with Sylvia, he got used to a lot of things.

They alternated on working days so that they could still work and earn simoleans, but so that they could also closely monitor the Smiths. Word got around town that they had moved in together--into that weird lab of theirs no less--but neither Michael nor Sylvia cared for Eden gossip. At least, as long as no one came down to their corner of Eden to bother them. As long as they could carry on with their experiment, they were content.

A month into their new living arrangements, there were still things concerning Sylvia that Michael hadn't gotten used to. She would always go to bed hours after he did and once he stayed up in bed to observe her. She stayed at the desk in their bedroom, writing fast and long on various sheets of paper that she kept in a folder. A plain, manila folder. She would pause and make some kind of noise before continuing on. She only did this at night, after Michael went to bed. Michael couldn't understand it and it bothered him. Whatever Sylvia was doing, she always thought on it long and hard. He could often hear her murmuring to herself. She'd always glance over her shoulder afterwards to check and see if he was still sleeping. What was she hiding?

Michael desperately wanted to know, but Sylvia was a very smart woman and always cleared away any bit of evidence after spending her nights writing and reading whatever she was working on. Michael could never find any stray papers on her desk or even shreds of post-its that he could piece together. Her folder was locked away in a cabinet that Michael didn't have access to and he didn't dare dream of directly asking her to see any of her work. It was clear that whatever Sylvia was doing, she wanted it to be kept secret. Michael feared what her reaction would be if he asked to be let in on it.

So the days went on like that. Sylvia would also sometimes spend her late nights on the computer out in the main lab, researching who knows what. But the lab was silent at night and Michael could hear her tapping away at the keyboard if he listened closely and stayed awake. His curiosity gnawed away at his brain. What was Sylvia doing that she had to hide from him?

Then, one day, it all came to light. Michael came home from some late morning grocery shopping to find a new installment in the lab--and Sylvia drinking straight from it. Michael paused in the doorway, but Sylvia seemed not to have noticed his entrance. At least, she didn't turn and gawk in that guilty, caught-red-handed way that Michael imagined she should've. But this was what she was hiding from him? Michael frowned; what was that substance she was drinking anyway? It looked positively foul.

Michael stamped into the kitchen, making sure every single one of his footsteps was loud enough for Sylvia to hear. Still, she took no note of him. She was now glowing and radiating and Michael knew whatever she was consuming wasn't natural. What did this have to do with their line of work? And again, why was she hiding this from him? Michael grumbled to himself about it as he made his way into the kitchen. He was so indescribably furious with Sylvia. They were scientific partners and now roommates--how could she still keep important things from him?

But when Michael made it to the kitchen, he could only rest his forehead against the cool surface of their fridge. He knew exactly what Sylvia was consuming. To any scientist, it was unmistakable. The Elixir of Life. Even just saying it made Michael cringe. He'd heard the stories--living for decades past your estimated life expectancy--centuries, even! You would never die on the Elixir. Stay young and beautiful forever. Never age. So unnatural. So disgusting. So mindlessly indulgent. Michael still couldn't understand what place the Elixir held in their experiment and as soon as he put the groceries up, he confronted Sylvia about it.

Sylvia, already expecting this, was sitting in the chair beside their lab work desk, waiting patiently for Michael to emerge from the kitchen. He took the seat behind their desk, but before he could get a word in edgewise, Sylvia cut him off. "Before you go on ranting and raving about the ethics of the Elixir, Michael, I want you to understand that this is not only necessary, but required for our experiment to continue. I've done my research on the Elixir, so I am not just blindly going into this--as if I ever would. Our involvement with it is completely safe and there are no repercussions or consequences that should occur."

Michael took in all this information with a blank face. "Should?" he repeated. He wasn't worried that Sylvia had overlooked a side effect of the potion, but he was worried about what those side effects could be. Sylvia shook her head, but said nothing more on the matter.

"Michael, we've been partners for a long time now and I understand how you work probably better than anyone. There is no other scientist I trust more than you," Sylvia admitted, nodding solemnly. "I need you to trust me on this one, okay? I can explain everything, but I need you to listen." Michael didn't know what else to do at this point, so he just nodded and sat there and let Sylvia explain how they'd gotten themselves to this point.

"As you know, the Elixir of Life was first synthesized by Mortimer Goth about a decade ago--"

"Didn't he die?"

Sylvia ignored Michael and continued on. "The Elixir was imperfect. Mortimer tested it on himself and on his wife and his family life hasn't been the same since. His wife... No one really knows what happened to Bella, but she slowly began to lose memory and then disappeared all of a sudden. People who claim to have seen her since say that she retained her youth and beauty despite that. For Mortimer, it was the opposite: he aged more quickly, but his memories stayed vivid and intact."

"And you're telling me this, why?" Michael interjected, feeling his skin crawl a little. As much as he liked to hear the stories of an experiment's development, he didn't want to hear about the development of the Elixir, something that his partner had just swallowed a copious amount of. What if the potion was poisoning Sylvia's body right that second? Why had she taken it knowing all of this? "Is this story supposed to comfort me somehow?"

"Michael," Sylvia snapped, "please. Your comfort should be the least of your concerns right now--"

"No, Sylvia!" Michael exclaimed, actually getting angry now. "My comfort should be my greatest concern! From what I can tell, you want me to swallow some life-prolonging potion that could do irreversible damage to my life and my memory! Why the hell wouldn't I be concerned about that?"

"If you'd just listen to me, you'd realize that the potion has been perfected now!" Sylvia cried, matching Michael in frustration and volume. She took a deep breath and continued. "After Mortimer's death, the potion was sold to a private lab in Pleasantview and developed further. It was then tested and found to have few imperfections. There are virtually no side effects and the ones that exist are reversible with treatment." Michael frowned; the Elixir still didn't sound very appealing nor could he understand why they needed it so badly for their experiment. He told Sylvia as much and her face reddened.

"I just don't get why we need this," Michael said, his frown deepening.

Then Sylvia seemed to explode. "Michael! What are you talking about?! You mean you haven't thought of it?" Sylvia demanded and Michael flushed, not knowing what she was talking about. "And you call yourself a scientist," she spat. Michael opened his mouth to retort, but Sylvia continued ranting before he could speak up. "We're human, Michael. We are not supernatural sims. And although we have designed the Smiths to have a longer lifespan, we were not designed that way. If we just continue on this way, our experiment will outlive us. What good would that do, Michael?"

Michael frowned. The thought had flitted through his mind once or twice before, but he'd never dwelt upon it or gave it so much thought. He'd forgotten that the experiment didn't end with Jane. It ended once the tenth generation had grown into adults and produced offspring of their own. The reality of it all hit Michael; he would live to see Jane Smith die.

Sylvia could see that Michael was beginning to come to terms with the gravity of the situation and she softened her voice. "I'm sure you understand why we need this now, Michael." Michael nodded and Sylvia cleared her throat. "I know all the details. I know what the proper dosage is, how often we should take it, what the signs of possible side effects are--I told you Michael, I properly researched this." Michael flushed again. He knew better than to doubt Sylvia. If there was anything he was sure of in this world, it was that Sylvia took her work very seriously. She was willing to sacrifice just about anything for her research.

"So, are you willing to do this, Michael? I don't want to have to live forever by myself," Sylvia joked, although the smile on her face was sad. She understood how serious this all was. They would live long past the regular life expectancy of a sim. Others would question it. They would see or hear of family members dying. Old friends would turn to dust and ashes before their eyes. They would see the Smith legacy come to its end. They would watch their founder die. It was sad, but it was necessary.

With the same blank expression he wore when he first sat down to talk to Sylvia, Michael nodded. He understood now. There was no other way, was there? How else would they expect to carry on the experiment? He told Sylvia he was ready and willing and she filled him in on all the details they needed to pay attention to in order for the Elixir to work and for things to go off with minimal issues.

And soon enough, it became just another thing for them, something else ingrained into their new daily routine. The Elixir became another part of their new lifestyle, something else for Michael to get used to. Every day for breakfast, they'd have Michael's pancakes...

...and a fresh glass of Elixir. It wasn't the healthiest lifestyle, but it was what they needed to get by. If it was for the better of their experiment, the two wouldn't have had it any other way.

As for the other changes in their lives, living together was growing more and more normal with each passing day. Both scientists were low on funds though (especially after building an extension on the lab so they could actually live there) and had brought very few of their things with them. Both had a limited number of outfits and toiletries and both lived out of their respective suitcases. It wasn't the most comfortable way of living, but they made it work. Michael was not surprised to see that Sylvia's "casual" dress wasn't much different than her work and office clothes; she wasn't a very casual woman.

Even though the two had been working together for years in Strangetown, they had never been as close with one another as they were now. They had always been friends, but being roommates was something completely different. Michael got to know Sylvia on a more personal level; she had always been a little defensive and held her walls up, but she insisted that was because it was difficult for her to be taken seriously as a female scientist. Sylvia had always been so driven and she wasn't going to let sexism ruin her lifelong dreams. Sylvia was also getting to see Michael as more than a good friend and reliable lab partner; she had always somewhat looked down upon him or thought he was a little less skilled than other scientists in their field, but Michael had a big heart and proved to her time and time again that he was just a good person. She was glad to have him by her side.

Of course, they weren't entirely open with each other. While Michael was no longer suspicious of Sylvia's late night researching activity (he assumed it had something to do with their experiment in some way--like the Elixir), Sylvia wasn't the most trusting person in the world. Sure, she was warming up to Michael, but that didn't mean she was going to tell him about her childhood and discuss the psychological effects it had on her even today. It was mostly Sylvia who kept secrets. Michael knew he was easy to read already, so he didn't really bother holding anything back.

There were some things he kept to himself though. For instance, Michael was the one with more cooking skills--they both knew this. Sylvia sometimes took over in the kitchen though, as she felt sciences like chemistry went hand in hand with cooking. And to an extent, they did, but Sylvia did not go hand in hand with cooking. She was forever experimenting with simple recipes, trying to make them her own when she could barely manage to just make them. Michael thought she spent her time in the kitchen making the food as acidic as possible. He tried telling her spices and broth weren't meant to be applied like alcohol or solutions, but by the smells that wafted through the lab when Sylvia was in the kitchen, Michael could tell she didn't listen to him.

Sylvia also liked to mess around with temperature and who knows what else. Michael tried to tell her a stove wasn't a Bunsen burner, but that message didn't get through either. Luckily, Michael hadn't needed to extinguish any fires, but he figured it was all a matter of time. Whenever Sylvia served up one of her infamous meals, Michael always looked up to her with sad, puppy-dog eyes, as if asking her why she even bothered when she knew what she would come up with would be toxic to his internal organs.

Of course Michael would never actually dare to say something like that to Sylvia. Despite all the defenses she put up, Michael knew that Sylvia wasn't indestructible and that she was actually quite sensitive when it came to certain topics. He hadn't discovered what all of those topics were, but he'd come to the conclusion that her cooking was one of them. Sylvia always asked him what he thought of her...creations, and Michael could do little more than insist they tasted great and nod enthusiastically. Sometimes the food was so bad he gagged on it, but he masked it by saying he just burnt his tongue.

Michael "burnt his tongue" quite a lot.

Sylvia was also quite sensitive about her family. Michael would've never imagined, but after they unpacked what few belongings they'd brought with them, Sylvia hung up a couple of portraits of her family members and friends from back home. Michael knew that Sylvia had left behind a boyfriend who seemed like he was ready to propose to her any day, but he never asked about it and she didn't talk about anyone from her past at all. Michael talked about his parents quite a lot; he missed them terribly. Both scientists knew that they wouldn't be seeing the people they loved again though. The memories were merely a temporary comfort.

And as time wore on, the two became comforts for each other. Sylvia might've been a tad sensitive about some things, but Michael was sensitive about just seemingly everything. They fought with each other, but they also laughed with other and they cried with each other. There was no shame in their lab, only cohesiveness and acceptance. They were each other's best friend and confidante. Everyone else was an outsider, meant to be used as a temporary social boost. When it boiled down to it, all they had was each other, the lab and their experiment.

Everything that existed in that space became their whole world and everything outside of it ceased to exist. To be honest, they wouldn't have had it any other way.

It was sad, but necessary.

Back in Eden, the Smith children were settling into their dorm at La Fiesta Tech. It would be a temporary home, of course, seeing as they planned to be accepted and move into the Annya Hoh Cham House before their first semester of college was over. Olive insisted that she had connections and that they'd be in the Greek House before they knew it.

But let's take a moment to refresh on stats. Above is Jesse Smith, the third-born child and second son. He is majoring in Drama. Jesse is a Romance and Pleasure oriented sim with the lifetime want to become a Hall of Famer. His predestined hobby is tinkering and his personality stats are 10/2/3/10/9, making him a Capricorn. Jesse is turned on by makeup and full-face makeup and turned off by athletic sims.

Here is Olive Smith, the fourth-born child and second daughter. She is majoring in Political Science. Olive is a Popularity and Pleasure oriented sim with the lifetime want to become the Mayor. Her predestined hobby is tinkering and her personality stats are 6/10/3/6/10, making Olive a Libra. Olive is turned on by hats and black hair and turned off by sims with high mechanical skill.

This is Ava, the first-born child and first daughter. She is majoring in Drama, like Jesse. Ava is a Fortune and Pleasure oriented sim with the lifetime want to become a World Class Ballet Dancer. Her predestined hobby is film and literature and her personality stats are 5/6/3/5/6, making Ava an Aquarius. She is turned on by hats and sims with high creativity skill, but is turned off by fit sims.

Next is Noah, the second-born child and first son. He is majoring in Literature. Noah is a Pleasure and Fortune oriented sim with the lifetime want to become a Prestidigitator. His predestined hobby is sports and his personality stats are 5/5/9/7/1, making him a Sagittarius. Noah is turned on by red hair and sims with high mechanical skill and turned off by highly logical sims.

Finally, there is Clay Smith, the fifth-born and third son. He is majoring in Biology. Clay is a Knowledge and Pleasure oriented sim with the lifetime want of becoming a Mad Scientist. Clay's predestined hobby is fitness and his personality stats are 5/9/3/6/4, making him a Leo. Clay is turned on by hats and brown hair and turned off by formal wear.

And thus the third generation of Smith's college days began.

Noah immediately took to adopting a small brown and white Womrat that he fondly named Wendell. The Smiths never had pets growing up, something Noah was a tad bitter about. He'd always wanted a dog or something. Of course, one couldn't have a pet in the dorms, but Noah would be content with a Womrat for now. Besides, they were much easier to take care of and somewhat fascinating to watch.

Olive wasn't as content to laze around and attempt to settle down as her siblings were. She knew she had a shot at getting them all into the Greek House they so rightly belonged in as soon as possible, and she was going to go for that opportunity. Olive wasted no time in calling Nawwaf, who, to her surprise, did not actually live in the Annya Hoh Cham House, but lived a couple of dorms away. While Olive just wanted to ask Nawwaf if she could pledge for the AHC House, Nawwaf was more intent on picking up where the two of them left off. Olive humored him and let him indulge, figuring if she let him have his way for a bit, things would be easier for her.

How wrong she was. After asking him if she could pledge, Nawwaf was overjoyed, but informed her that she'd have to make friends with the current housekeeper, Nancy Benson. Olive's eyes widened and she made to whine and scream at Nawwaf, but he caught her lips in another kiss before she could speak. He broke away for a bit to call Nancy for her and Olive's anger dissipated eventually. She also was allowed to break away from Nawwaf long enough to make friends with Nancy and was admitted into the AHC House immediately, becoming the first member of the third generation. Olive was incredibly proud of this fact.

Olive then alerted her siblings of the situation and one by one, they too befriended Nancy.

Eventually, all of them became full, official members of the AHC House and Olive was ready to move into the house. The rest of them, however, weren't so ready.

"What do you mean you guys want to stay here longer?!" Olive cried, absolutely frustrated with her siblings. Didn't they understand the importance of the AHC House? It was a family tradition they had to carry on their shoulders! If they treated it so nonchalantly, they'd never earn the respect on campus that they deserved.

Olive's siblings explained to her that they thought they hadn't stayed in the dorms long enough and that they wanted a taste of what the real college experience was like. Olive thought this reason was "absolute bullshit," and had no problem telling her siblings that. All the same, the other four refused to move out and Olive wasn't going to move into the AHC House by herself. So they stayed. "But only for three more days--tops!" Olive insisted.

And what a three days it was. Clay struck up a romance with a fellow dormie, Cassidy Kosmokos, or as she was known around campus, that girl with the babies on her dress. Sure, Clay thought the whole purple babies thing was a little weird, but Cassidy was a sweet girl and he liked her despite her fashion choices and all.

Noah wasn't quite so fond of his brother's new girlfriend and he had no problem showing that. Clay watched in horror countless times as Noah and Cassidy engaged in fierce battle. They were evenly matched though, despite Noah's robotic genes. It was basically a toss-up as to who would win each match. Clay didn't know what sparked or even fueled Noah's intense dislike for Cassidy, but the feelings were mutual and before the three days were up, the two were enemies. It wasn't exactly how Clay wanted to introduce Cassidy to his family.

Olive continued to see Joe Leelaporn. She didn't continue seeing Nawwaf though. He called every once in a while and she'd talk to him, but she didn't invite him over nor did she ask to see him. She felt she'd used him for what she wanted and now that he was no longer needed, she could move on to the guy that she really wanted. And that was Joe. Although he was still a little miffed (and confused) about Olive's earlier games with him and Nawwaf, Joe was happy to be the one she chose in the end.

Still, that didn't mean Olive had any plans of settling down. She hadn't made any promises to Joe--they just saw each other frequently. There were a couple of hotties in the dorms and Olive was going to use those three days to get to know each and every single one of them on a very personal level. Jimmy Phoenix was one of her favorites, although he was a little on the creepy side; he'd often show up randomly in her room shirtless and when she came, he'd exit silently. Olive didn't know if that was his version of a come-on, but she wasn't going to find out.

Noah spent most of his three days playing around with Wendell. He loved Wendell very much.

The Smiths didn't spend all their time romancing and loving though. They were actually very studious and serious about their majors. They all understood how college would help them build their careers after graduating and with all of their lifetime wants being career related, they definitely were looking forward to that career level boost. They stayed on top of their studies and all of them aimed for 4.0 GPAs. They were certainly smart enough to accomplish that.

There were some dormies they didn't get along with, of course. Ava made an enemy of her own with the guy pictured above, but the rivalry wasn't as intense as the one between Noah and Cassidy. Those two broke out into fights at least three times a day. As Carver and Kittredge watched on, they wondered what it was about University that turned the Smiths into wild animals. Back home, they weren't even a quarter as horny or violent, but the moment they stepped onto La Fiesta Tech territory, they seemed to change completely. Perhaps it was a phenomenon worth studying.

Eventually, the three day period ended and it was time for the Smiths to pack up and leave the dorm to head for their rightful home, the epic palace that was the Annya Hoh Cham House. None of them were as excited as Olive was, but they were all very happy to be falling into their place as possible Smith heirs. The move to the Legacy House really cemented things in their minds: they were all potential heirs and they had to start taking that seriously if they wanted to be seriously considered for the title.

Nancy greeted them all warmly at the front door. She felt as if they were her children in a way, seeing as she'd hung around with their parents in college herself. She couldn't believe it had really been that long since Smiths had inhabited the AHC House. Nancy was also very happy with Olive's obvious excitement about the Greek House and everything Smith Legacy related. She figured Olive had a very good chance at being the next heir.

However, none of the Smiths were greeted as warmly by Nancy as Noah was. Neither of them really knew what happened, but they started talking and one thing led to another. There was a love tub conveniently located at the back of the House; Noah figured it was a good time to put it to some good use. As for Nancy... Aiden who? Never mind that she'd been hooking up with Noah's uncle. She only had eyes for this boy now.

Noah and Nancy were quickly followed by Olive and...Nawwaf?! Olive had been pretty surprised to see him; he'd just showed up at the front door. It wasn't that odd considering he was a House member, but Olive hadn't expected to see him again so soon. Maybe love or lust or something was in the air though, because she didn't have any second thoughts about jumping into the hot tub with him and having her very first woohoo!

And the hot tub got some more good use! Clay and Cassidy (who'd been invited over for the housewarming party) also jumped into the hot tub, not too long after Olive and Nawwaf had vacated it. Yeah, the Smiths were a pretty happy bunch that night, it seemed.

Olive must've picked up on some of her mother's college day behaviors, because the day after she lost her virginity to Nawwaf, she called Joe over for a toga party. Of course, she herself had been too lazy to change out of her pajamas, but that was beside the point. Carver and Kittredge wondered if they had another Daria on their hands. They wouldn't have minded, but Olive's motives seemed to be less innocent and more selfish than her mother's. Whatever she was doing, she was doing it well: Olive had both boys completely wrapped around her finger.

But she wasn't a Romance sim and eventually, Olive made a choice. She liked Joe better and so she asked him to pledge for the House. Joe accepted immediately and they celebrated with a little bedroom rendezvous.

Outside the house, Jesse and Ava were playing with each other since their siblings had abandoned them for their significant others. Not that the two minded very much. Jesse was used to hanging around just Ava. Growing up, she'd been the one to bring him out of his shell. Ava was having a bit of a hard time adjusting to college life, surprisingly enough. She was usually the popular and outgoing sibling, especially as the oldest, but she found that there weren't many people she liked or who liked her. So she stuck to Jesse, her forever loyal little brother.

Meanwhile, one of Ava's other little brothers was sticking to someone else. Noah and Nancy were practically inseparable. Noah didn't know about Nancy's past nor did he care to hear about it. All he knew was that he was absolutely infatuated with her--smitten, you could say. He was taken with Nancy in a way that he'd never been taken before. Noah had never dated back in Eden, but something just clicked between him and Nancy and he knew she was the one. She felt much the same way.

As time went on, more people started randomly dropping by the AHC House. They threw more toga parties (and just parties in general) and grabbed more free pizza and more and more people heard about the awesome Smith kids who lived in the house. Eventually, the mascots came. Ava found one of the mascots to be quite attractive even though she'd never seen his face (reminds you of Abigail and Ryder a bit, doesn't it?), but they didn't hit it off. Ava began to worry that she would never find the love her siblings had. Maybe she and Jesse could just rent an apartment and live together after they graduated...

Olive certainly wasn't going to be alone after she graduated! Joe finished up his pledge period and she welcomed him into the AHC House with wide, loving arms. She was really beginning to like Joe--like, seriously. She was ready to start dating him for real and be in an exclusive relationship. None of the other guys she met held her attention like Joe did and none of them were even half as attractive. Olive was sure Joe was the one for her.

(Joe's stats: Romance/Grilled Cheese - LTW: Become Celebrity Chef - hobby is Games - 5/5/3/8/4 (Taurus) - turned on by makeup and black hair - turned off by custom hair)

But not every couple in the AHC House had a smooth ride. With the llama mascot comes the cow mascot--the troublemaker. It didn't seem to be Tamara Vu this time, but one could only tell so much. The cow decided it'd be appropriate to lay a smooch on Clay when his girlfriend was right there! Clay had never even as much as talked to the cow before, but that evil mascot wrecked his relationship with Cassidy, who he was already on thin ice with because of her relationship with Noah. Cassidy slapped Clay and didn't stick around to hear his sorry explanations. The cow walked off scot-free.

Back inside the house, Ava had met a guy who was just her type: Trent Lew. He'd been walking by and she'd been out and about, greeting people to try to get them to pledge for the House or just to make friends. They clicked immediately and he stuck around for a couple of hours and by the end of the night, Trent had found his way to Ava's bed. She was considering keeping him around for a lot longer though.

Speaking of keeping people around, before the whole cow mascot incident, Clay had asked Cassidy to pledge for the House and she had agreed. Despite their current relationship status, Cassidy still remained a pledge and once her pledge period was over, Clay welcomed her into the House. It was a little awkward after that because the plan had originally been for Cassidy to share a bed with Clay Of course, getting her own room wouldn't be hard in a huge house like the AHC House, but still... It was the principle of the matter.

(Cassidy's stats: Knowledge/Popularity - lifetime want is to Max Out 7 Skills - hobby is Sports - 2/3/9/7/4 (Sagittarius) - turned on by hats and high mechanical skill - turned off by high cleaning skill)

And maybe that was why Clay tried his hardest to make up with Cassidy. Eventually she heard him out and everyone on campus knew about the evilness of the cow mascot, so she believed his story and they made up not too long after. Things went back to normal and neither of them could've been happier. Cassidy also received a lovely little makeover, seeing as the uptight bun and baby dress just wasn't doing it for her.

Jesse, tired of seeing all of his other siblings get some, decided it was about time that he got some action of his own. He was the only Romance sim in the house and he wasn't doing much romancing! So, he asked around and Noah gave him the number of an old friend he had back in Eden: Emmy Fuchs. Jesse trusted his older brother, but he was still surprised by how pretty Emmy was. They went on a date and got along smashingly.

Yes, they got on very well. Things moved fast between the two, but that was probably mostly because Jesse hadn't been getting any action since coming to La Fiesta Tech (or before that, really) and because Emmy was one of the first people who didn't comment on his pale skin. Yeah, Jesse liked Emmy a whole lot.

Ava liked Trent a whole lot too, and she asked him to pledge for the House. It only seemed fair. All of her other siblings asked their significant others to pledge and move into the house. Trent was no different in Ava's mind. Of course, he agreed to pledge--who wouldn't? AHC was the best Greek House on campus.

Soon, Trent's pledge period was over and he moved into the house and got his own makeover. He was a very handsome guy and Ava knew she wasn't the only one to think so, but Trent only had eyes for her, so she had nothing to worry about.

(Trent's stats: Fortune/Family - lifetime want is to Become a City Planner - hobby is Cuisine - 7/4/1/8/5 (Capricorn) - turned on by underwear and unemployed sims - turned off by high logic skill)

Houston, we have a problem.

the smith legacy: generation two, the smith legacy
