i really want to go somewhere. REALLLY REALLY BADLY.
as in another country.

Laura, you don't have to go out of the country to have a mission... you don't even have to leave your town. Granted I understand the desire to travel, but that is getting mixed up with the desire to help. It's not wrong to want to go on a mission away from home, but incase the opportunity doesn't present itself, you should know that there is plenty to help with here

i appreciate the encouragement, actually- it never hurts to hear it!
but no, i know what you're saying- in fact, i couldn't agree more with you. I think helping those around you is extremely important and believe me, I know PLENTY of people around me that are definately searching and in need of guidance. I try my best to show my love of God show through me actions- I haven' always been very good about it, but I'm trying to change that a bit. Of course, I'll never be perfect, but I'm trying. Also, I have started smiling at people a lot lately. I just find this want to smile at people I don't even know, and it really does make a difference! Whenver someone smiles at me for no reason, i instantly feel 10 times better-- i feel this sense of love and acceptance-- and I can't help but want to share and pass it on.

oh yeah i forgot to say this:
I want to help those around me, but I also figure that if hey,if I want to see somewhere or something completely new/different, what better way to utilize my time there than doing a mission-type trip as well?
so thats really my point here.
