I got the job. :) This is huge, huge, huge for me. My Dad, Mom and siblings are so immensely happy for me. I've wanted to do something in regards to my major for longer than I can remember and it's finally, finally bearing some fruit. Though I'm not sure he knew it, Efluvious was a rock for me. If anyone ever asked me to point out a single member who exemplified the ideals of Ironsong, I'd immediately point to Efluvious. The guy is fantastic, and exactly the kind of player I hoped to attract when I formed the guild.

But life goes on... we've lost good folks, we've made new friends, the extremely rapid circle of MMO life continues. It's a damn shame to see him go, but I support his choice 100%, as I'm sure you do also.

Congratulations on the job, Sara, that's fantastic, awesome news. I know you wanted this so badly, and I'm glad it panned out!! *hugs*

As one who's left the game several times now... the social network in the Tribe is really strong and can pull pretty much anyone back in. Remember the big to-do when Kernasas left? Weeeell... he came back. Just make sure to keep the channels of communication open. I still chat with several people from game out of game (Waka and my family not included) and I have no doubts as to your ability to do the same. No handcuffs required!
