Not True, Is It?
OK, have you heard about this? I have been interested in Frida Kahlo and her life, I have admired her greatly. I have always been a fan of Oprah as well. Well recently Oprah discussed Frida Kahlo on her show, and, along with another guest, began making rude comments about the later Ms. Kahlo's facial hair, including "She was such a beautiful woman, I don't understand why?" and "Honestly, why would you do that to yourself?" She also compared Ms. Kahlo's eyebrows to a "caterpiller or something."
The other guest actually quoted Ms. Kahlo as having said, during her lifetime, "These Goddamn eyebrows, I wish I could tear them out of my head." or something like that.
I've done some reading about Ms. Kahlo's life and I never came across any quote like that, and I certainly do not believe it. Does anyone have any information about this?
As far as Oprah goes, I shan't be viewing her show anymore from now on.
