I recommended to Jena she watch 'Doctor Who', because it's awesome and Ten and Rose and aliens and running through the streets and yay!

So - she doesn't even make it through Season 1, saying it's, quote 'not her thing' and then proceeds to tell me she thinks her new 'discovery' Psych is soooo much better and I'm like:

Sisters can by annoying like that. My sister tends to mentally delete the fact that I was the one to introduce her to things and then ponces around like it was her personal discovery, nay, invention.

Yeah, see, that's what she does - I'm pretty much over it now (my damn period wasn't helping - hooooormones) and have concluded that, much like Buffy and MST3K, she'll decided - probably years from now - that she likes it.

And I know *exactly* what you mean. Not so much with my sis, but I tried to tell my mom to watch Children of Men for ages, and then when I came home for winter break she asked me if I'd seen it, because it was SO GOOD. I headdesked so hard, I can't even say.
