Love it that Sherlock cracked before John did and let the kitten into his room.

Aw. Sherlock actually thought John would take her away. Touching. (Still, points to John for winding Sherlock up about that, since he'd been wading so deep in denial for so long.)

:) The comic timing here is *good* - naturally the kitten would make a remark as soon as Sherlock said he didn't know what Lestrade was talking about. You've even laid nice groundwork for it, as John observed earlier that Baby tends to be vocal when Sherlock talks to her.

The final exchange of remarks about the family unit is cute. :)
