It was a very interesting watch. There wasn't so much sloppy science as there was sloppy conclusions based on what little findings were discovered ( ... )

Yeah. I feel like it will be like the Shroud of Turino - there will be experts on either side (and not so experts, too, I'd imagine) crying foul or hoax or interference or whatnot. And in the end very few, if any, people will be swayed away from their original position.

But, as a historian and archaeologist I do just want to bloody know what CAN be determined :)

If you get the chance, I do highly recommend watching it. There is also a one hour debate program that followed it that helps put a few things into perspective.

tsk, you went to lutheran high north, how could you be an atheist?
(i just clicked on LJ's lutheran common school thin g and you came up - i think we might of been schoolmates then... honestly, i didn't really enjoy my high school years :)

I went to LHN - how could I *NOT* be athiest.

I went to LHN for just one semester and a good portion of that I was in ISS.

I only went to help my sister, but got fed up and went back to Bellaire. I was there in Fall 1992.

I did see you know a girl I knew in college, though.
