Six weeks since you last confession... lol! I think LJ works as a great place for that kind of stuff for those of us who don't go to confession any more, just gotta be careful how much detail you go in to, eh? ;)

Glad to see you're still alive out there :) Hope all is well with you.
What connections do you have with Dr. Coe? I'd be interested to hear that one! I have never met him but I will be getting an introduction this month. I met the presidents of the Orange County chapters of both the local ARCE's and the NWAC and the local AAI which has been such a stroke of luck. With those groups I've been able to attend and go to private lunches and dinners with these people. Its been a dream come true for me.
As far as Pcon ..no promises yet. I don't think the House is officially attending in 2009 (I may be wrong but I've not heard of any plans as of yet) and I have mentioned that I would like to go one year and attend all the stuff I've been interested in seeing since we started going in 2003. If I go to Pcon I would have to work it (as I wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise) and I would need to find a room mate for the hotel. Its on my mind as well. Keep reminding me.

Unofficially I have two connections.
1. I walk by his house twice a day--it's on my path to work.
2. When he was originally doing his field work in the 60s, my mother was the one who handled wiring money to him in Mexico. (no mean feat!)
IT'd be awesome if you could make Pcon again. I know Senut was saying she'd like to get back as well. And yes, as far as I know, Hemet isn't planning to be there next year. Alas. At the least I should be at Retreat next year. I think we should implement a Jackal Smoking Lounge somewhere.
