i just watched goblet of fire...

I hope one day when people aren't afraid of making a movie longer than 3 hours and wouldn't mind GETTING A BETTER ACTOR THAN DANIEL RADCLIFFE, that we would find a remake of the harry potter movies that do the books justice.

I dream of the same thing. I personally think it will happen somewhere down the line. There's too many of us that would want it. I hated GOF, the move. It actually was upsetting because I LOVED the intricately interwoven plot of the book. And just because you spent a lot of time and money making a realistic looking dragon, that's no excuse to hijack the movie and make a seen that is not only too long, but also makes no sense: the dragon is supposed to be protecting her eggs. She wouldn't chase Harry AWAY from the eggs. That was part of why it was so difficult! GRRRR.

And I haven't even watched it that recently...

Yes! It's true.
The whole time you're watching the movie, you feel like you are looking at a painting with your face pressed against it. You are given a hint that the picture is bigger, but you are only able to see what's right in front of you. That book was very deeply involved, and the movie makes it seem like it was just about getting a goblet.
