Buying hot chestnuts from street carts!

A restaurant that moved into my neighborhood and who I visited enough to know the owner and who ended up giving me my cat.

A young man in a drug store who was charming and flirtatious with my mother's dog when she threw herself, belly up, at his feet. "The princess demands attention, her needs must be met!" and he bent over and scratched her tummy.

My doormen who watch me grow up and who helped me to feel safe no matter what time of day.

Going for cheap indian food after a ball in a full ball gown and not even getting a side look.

The daily run-ins with various television, movie and theatre cultural icons and stars.
