Time to 'reclaim the night' for sleep

Sometimes when I see a typo or fuzzy language on a document I put it down not to a poor command of language but an honest mistake committed in the course of pursuing work late into the night. Hm, well, at least we no longer work fourteen hour days under debilitating conditions, as in the eighteenth century. I'm not defending sleep deprivation in anyway - it really sucks - but the title of the article itself made me feel a little dubious. Some people genuinely do do better during the late night/early morning, and "reclaiming the night for sleep" seems to hark back to largely Puritan notions of "early to bed and early to rise".
