Jean-Michel Basquiat on the oft-sought-after TV Party, an old NY cable access show that apparently had the toast of the NYC underground on every show in the early 80's. They always have these for rental at Kim's but I never pestered anyone to rent them. This interview is really odd and his publicist or manager or whatever is really annoying, but quite interesting nonetheless.
"Ten Storey Love Song" by the Stone Roses. From their horrid last album, this was one of the few decent ones. I always really liked this video. Mani as the Pope in a Lucien Freud painting!
"Tropical Iceland" by the Fiery Furnaces. Obsessed with this song right now.
Serge from Kasabian kicking a trick goal on a soccer TV show in the UK. The best one ever in the show's history, or at least that's what the 12+ links of the same shot on YouTube say. Pretty impressive and incredibly amusing to me for all the wrong reasons.
